INITIAL CONTACT: You connect with Ogden Layton Estate Sales to explore your options. Please note we ONLY talk to those with direct legal authority (home owners, POA, Personal Representative(s)/Executor(s). We do not meet other family members or friends even if they are “named in the Will” or are an alternate to the P.R.

CONSULTATION: We schedule a walk-through to review such items you’d like to sell and provide a rough estimate of the estate’s resale value. It is 30 minutes long and free if you retain our services.

TIMELINE PLANNING: Together, we set expectations and discuss ideal dates for hosting the estate sale and/or cleanout.

STAGING & PRICING: Our team carefully organizes, stages, and assigns fair market prices to all household contents. Not every item is priced especially on cleanout/small estates.

ESTATE SALE EXECUTION: We host a professionally managed estate sale. Typically over a weekend.

FINAL ESTATE SALE WRAP UP: After the sale, we coordinate donation and full clean-out of home.

LIST THE HOME: We have the home professionally cleaned and our REAL ESTATE BROKER partner will list the home (more money than selling to investors or having your Cousin be the realtor!)
